Maryland

Some of these pictures are from Chincoteague Island in Maryland/Virginia, a place I have wanted to go since I was a child and read Misty of Chincoteague! There are two parks: Chincoteague Island in Virginia, which has a large elusive herd, and Assateague Island in Maryland which has ponies majestically hanging out in the parking lot. Assateague, however, offers beach camping but lock your coolers because the ponies are crafty.
